My Budget helps you plan your spending. This page explains what data the app uses and why. In short: your budget lives on your phone, we don't sell data, and bank connections are read-only and only when you choose them.

Who we are

FLPMS & Integrated Technology Ltd (company number 13127822) is the data controller for My Budget. Contact us at info@flpmonitoring.com.

What the app stores

• Your budget: income, bills, savings, payday, plans, preferences and the spending you log or confirm. This is stored on your device. It is not sent to us unless you turn on bank sync or cloud backup.
• Purchases sent from Apple Pay: if you set up the iPhone Shortcuts automation, the amount and merchant name of each Apple Pay payment are passed to the app on your phone. They are not sent to us.
• Subscriptions: payments are handled by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your store purchase receipts, not your name or card details.

Your location

Only when you tap Find nearest (Food) or look up fuel prices near you (Fuel), the app asks for your approximate location and uses it for that one search. For supermarkets it sends the coordinates to OpenStreetMap's Overpass service (overpass-api.de); for fuel prices it sends them to our fuel-price server. We don't store your location or link it to you, and you can say no and still use the rest of the app.

Bank sync (Plus and Pro)

If you connect a bank, you do it through a regulated open-banking provider, which is named on the connection screen and is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Access is read-only: we can see balances and transactions, and nobody can move money. We use this data only to track your spending and work out your budget. You can disconnect at any time in the app or with your bank; we also ask you to reconfirm access every 90 days.

Deals

Some deals use affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay us a commission. We don't share your budget with retailers.

Why we can use your data

To provide the app you asked for (contract), and with your consent for bank connections. You can withdraw consent at any time.

How long we keep it

Data on your device stays until you delete it ("Start again" in Money) or delete the app. Data from bank sync is deleted within 30 days of disconnecting.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, and object to how we use it. Email us and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

My Budget is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and tell you in the app for significant changes.
